The Koç School Business Management and Economics Department delivers the IB curriculum at both Higher and Standard Levels in both Business Management and Economics to 11th and 12th grade students. Both of these courses will develop skills that are essential for not only the students’ course but equip them with techniques that will be used throughout their academic careers. The course also requires consideration of other disciplines and has clear dovetailing with Theory of Knowledge considerations.
Business Management and Economics classes at The Koç School are designed ad delivered in a collaborative manner to enhance student learning and will require that academic theory is considered in the context of the real world with an emphasis on the dynamic and international environment. This equips students with an ability to critically appraise the validity of theory whilst observing these theories in the commercial world. The Department benefits from its teachers who are all experienced in International education, and can draw upon experiences and knowledge from 4 different continents.
