Guidance and Psychological Counseling

The Koç School Primary School aims to support the development of students as individuals who are capable of taking responsibility, have developed problem-solving and critical thinking skills, respect differences, have high communication skills, and possess entrepreneurial and leadership qualities.

The guidance and psychological counseling services provided in this context are viewed as a professional support process based on scientific principles and the individual characteristics of students. They are carried out with a holistic approach that aims for multidimensional development through school-family cooperation. The guidance and psychological counseling process aims to systematically identify students' needs in the areas of social, emotional, and cognitive development and support them with appropriate psycho-educational interventions.

Students are identified through developmental assessment processes from their first day of school. Structured orientation activities are organized to facilitate the adaptation process.

Considering each student's individual development process, needs analyses are conducted and supportive programs are developed to meet these needs. Learning processes are regularly monitored, supportive activities are carried out to help students recognize their strengths, understand themselves, and maximize their individual potential. The fundamental aim of all these efforts is to ensure students' transition to the next level of education with comprehensive competence and self-awareness in terms of their social-emotional and academic development.
